Shading made easyt: KNX Actuator for Blinds with 2 Lower Limit Switches

News of 4 May 2023

Our KNX actuator for your blinds control

Spring is slowly setting in with the first warmer rays of sunshine. A good time to deal with the topic of shading in the Smart Building.

Are you still looking for a suitable blind control device for your next KNX project?

Then take a look at our revised actuator KNX S4-B12 DES!

The actuator controls motors with double lower limit switches for the lower end position, such as those used for special external venetian blinds. These blinds are positioned via two separate low travel commands: AB1 moves the blind downwards. In doing so, the slats typically remain open and daylight enters even while the blind is moving. AB2 closes the slats when the lower end position is reached. This darkens the room.
