Frederik Riedel

Frederik Riedel has been part of Elsner Elektronik since 2010 and has headed the Technical Service department since 2015. With his many years of experience, he knows the Elsner product range inside out and is deeply familiar with the requirements of professional users.

As a certified KNX Tutor, he combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of system integration and shares his extensive knowledge in training sessions and webinars.

Henry Kohl

Henry Kohl has been Sales Manager at Elsner Elektronik since early 2025. Prior to this, he spent over 15 years in the industry in various positions in international sales and marketing.

With his extensive experience in building and automation technology and his in-depth understanding of the market, Henry Kohl is an accomplished contact for smart control solutions for indoor and outdoor use.

Sales Manager Conventional Control Systems

Fabian Gehring

Fabian Gehring began his career with an apprenticeship as an electronics technician at Elsner Elektronik, after which he spent a year supporting production management in the manufacture of modern building automation solutions.

To deepen his commercial knowledge, he also completed further training as a technical business administrator. During this time, he developed a growing enthusiasm for sales – an area in which he now works, providing Elsner Elektronik's customers with advice and support.

Product manager

Martin Speer

Martin Speer has been working at Elsner Elektronik since early 2025 as a product manager in the building automation division. Prior to this, he spent over 20 years in various positions in the building and automation industry, including project management, system integration and team leadership.

His many years of experience with bus systems such as KNX, BACnet and Modbus, as well as his expertise in implementing sophisticated smart building solutions, make him an expert in modern automation – from planning and product development to commissioning.

Application Engineer

Karim Bou Diab

Karim Bou Diab has been part of the Technical Customer Service team at Elsner Elektronik since 2024. He works closely with the technical aspects and applications of Elsner products and knows their functions in detail from everyday practice.

With his background in Electronics Engineering, he combines solid technical expertise with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and share practical insights with users.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

Basic knowledge of building automation is helpful, but not always essential. Each event specifies whether it is aimed at beginners or advanced users.

Are the Elsner Academy webinars free of charge?

Yes, our webinars are generally free of charge. Exceptions are indicated separately.

Will I receive recordings or documents relating to the webinars?

Following our webinars, we always make recordings and presentations available online. These can be accessed at any time on our webinar page. If you have signed up for our newsletter and registered for the webinar, you will also receive the recording and presentation conveniently by email.

How do I register for the webinars?

You can register via our webinar page, where you will find links to the registration pages for our current webinars. After registering, you will receive all the important information by email.

How often do webinars take place?

We usually offer monthly webinars in German and English. You can find the current webinar dates on our webinar page.

Will I receive a certificate of participation if I have taken part in a webinar?

Yes, if you have signed up for our newsletter, we will automatically send you a certificate of participation by email for each webinar you have attended.
