Description
The Windancer 2.0 GPS KNX sec weather station for the KNX building bus system measures temperature, wind speed and brightness, and detects precipitation.
In the ETS application, all values can be used to control threshold-dependent switching outputs. The states can be linked using AND and OR logic gates.

Functions
- Wind measurement with stable cup anemometer (up to 200 km/h under laboratory conditions), wind measurements in m/s, km/h and Beaufort
- Precipitation detection: The sensor surface is heated, so that only drops and flakes are recognised as precipitation, but not mist or dew. When the rain or snow stops, the sensor is soon dry again and the precipitation warning ends
- Temperature measurement
- KNX Data Secure with extended peer-to-peer key table for secure communication with 1,000 KNX Data Secure devices
- Intuitive configuration interface/menu navigation, context-sensitive help and semantic information (Smart Linking Ready)
- Live Data Adjustment: current measured value can be set as a limit value via acommunication object (wind, temperature, brightness)
- All threshold values can be set via parameters or communication objects
- 8 AND and 8 OR logic gates, each with 4 inputs. All switching events as well as 16 logic inputs (in the form of communications objects) can be used as inputs for the logic gates. The output of each gate can be configured optionally as 1-bit or 2 x 8-bit
- Brightness measurement (current illuminance). Measurement with 3 separate sensors (east, south, west). Separate threshold values for night
- A simple roller shutter and blind control can be implemented using threshold values and associated switching outputs. For this purpose, up to three brightness thresholds are defined for each compass direction (east/south/west)
- Location query (Northern/Southern Hemisphere) controls the correct output of east and west brightness values
