The Jardana app: Easy to use and set up

Smartphones and the corresponding apps have become an indispensable part of our everyday lives. Also our automatic irrigation system Jardana can be configured quickly and easily via app:

All watering settings are easily made via the Jardana app on the smartphone (free for Android and iOS) or on the PC via the browser. WLAN access is required for this: you can simply integrate Jardana into an existing WLAN. Alternatively, the device can also generate its own WLAN and thus be operated network-autonomously (access point mode). 

Via the app, you can not only monitor whether watering is currently taking place. You can also extend the current watering or switch off the automatic function. This way, garden parties, playtime or sunbathing are not disturbed. A tap of the finger ensures that watering is suspended.

By connecting to your home WLAN, you can also water your garden on the go. With a secure VPN connection, the app can be used anywhere, even on holiday.

Install the app on the mobile device. Activate the Jardana WLAN in the WLAN settings.

As soon as your mobile device is on the Jardana WLAN, the irrigation system can be controlled via the app.
When you connect to the irrigation controller via the app for the first time, the Jardana app will guide you through the first setting steps.
There, select the desired language, set the time and date and select the watering variant.

Practical: You can connect up to 6 mobile devices to the irrigation system at the same time.

Here you will find an overview of the central functionalities of the Jardana app.

• Automatic block
  Activate or deactivate all automatic watering via all valves here. The setting remains after a restart of the irrigation controls.
• Time and date
  The time and date setting, and the summertime rule (factory setting: summertime rule for Europe) and the time zone (factory setting: UTC +1) can be changed in the general menu.
• General menu
  The other setting menus are reached via this button.
• Settings for valve X
  Settings menu for the respective valves.
• Automatic
  All the information about automatic watering in the respective irrigation zone is summarised here.
  If automatic mode is interrupted (block, moisture, automatic mode off), watering is not performed until all the conditions are met again.
• Manual
  If necessary, manual watering of the zone is started here.
• Ground moisture (optional)
  If a ground moisture sensor is used, the ground moisture and any set threshold values are shown here. The ground moisture is shown in 10 steps between low (1 drop) and high (3 drops). The moisture threshold value can also be used for automatic watering.
