Elsner Elektronik develops products for building automation that are operated exclusively locally in the building. This applies to both KNX products and conventional products.
During operation, the devices generate measurement and status data, such as sensor values or switching states. This data is processed and stored exclusively locally at the installation site.
There is no transfer to external servers or central storage by Elsner Elektronik. Elsner Elektronik has no access to the data generated by the products.
Access to, use of and any deletion of this data is carried out via the user's respective control systems, controllers or management systems.
Elsner Elektronik does not offer its own cloud-based data services within the meaning of the EU Data Act.
Elsner Elektronik products therefore comply with the requirements of the EU Data Act, in particular regarding data sovereignty and access options for the user.
