CO2 indicator light Air Vision as key to well-being
Get to know Air Vision, the CO2 indicator light for air quality by Elsner Elektronik!
With the room air measuring device you can easily monitor the carbon dioxide content of the air in your room. Air Vision indicates the CO2 concentration of the room air by means of an easy-to-understand traffic light system.
If the air quality meter lights up green, there is no need for action. If the colour changes to orange or even red, you should ventilate as soon as possible!
You don't need any prior technical knowledge to operate Air Vision. Thanks to the minimalist, intuitive design, the CO2 meter does not require a display or app – simply plug it in and Air Vision starts measuring immediately.
If the CO2 value is in the red range, you can quickly ensure ventilation. In this way, you contribute to maintaining a high indoor air quality and ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay within your four walls!
For your comfort and health
Why do I need Air Vision?
Carbon dioxide is a colourless and odourless gas that is not directly perceptible to humans and can only be measured by appropriate sensors. A high indoor CO2 concentration can have a negative impact on your health and productivity.
If the carbon dioxide content is above 1000 ppm (parts per million), sensitive people such as children or senior citizens in particular can react with concentration difficulties, fatigue or headaches.
But don't worry, this is where our CO2 monitor Air Vision can help you! The device helps you to monitor the air quality in order to act quickly in case of alarming values. Ensure high air quality in your rooms quickly and easily with Air Vision!
This overview shows you what consequences too high a CO2 concentration can have:

Integrated CO2 sensor
How does Air Vision work?
The CO2 measuring device has an integrated CO2 sensor. If the carbon dioxide content of the room air is within the acceptable range, Air Vision lights up pale green. If the carbon dioxide content rises, the colour of the CO2 traffic light initially changes to orange.
In the case of a "red alarm", the Air Vision beeps additionally. At this point at the latest, the room should be aired out! If the beep is disturbing, it can also be deactivated, e.g. if Air Vision is used in bedrooms or children's rooms.
Air Vision does not require any maintenance and has a self-calibration function that ensures permanently reliable readings. Simply place the room air measuring device in the fresh air for a while at least once a week.

Site selection & behaviour
What should I keep in mind when using Air Vision?
Choose the location carefully. Place Air Vision in the part of the room where you want to measure the air quality. Make sure that the air vents are unobstructed and that the CO2 measuring device is at least 1.50 m away from people and objects. Draughts should also be avoided as they affect the measurement result.
Do not blow into the device. The CO2 values are distorted by the air you breathe, which leads to a false red display of the Air Vision. Especially important to know for children's rooms ...
Standortwahl & Umgang

Information
Why ventilation is always important
The kids are playing in the nursery, you are working at home – and at some point it gets stuffy. Fresh air is urgently needed! Why?
In addition to the positive effect on the carbon dioxide content, regular ventilation reduces the concentration of germs in the room air.
For good indoor air hygiene, you should open the windows every now and then, whether at home or in the office. Especially when viruses and bacteria are in season, this reduces therisk of infection.
