DALI-2 sensors in KNX: An update makes it possible

DALI has become an indispensable lighting control system in the world of building automation and KNX. If you want to use the latest DALI 2 functions, the KNX-DALI L1 or L2 ind-gr-bc sec interfaces are the right choice.

A firmware update now makes it possible to use up to 32 DALI 2 sensors

as application controllers in the DALI system (multimaster)
as input devices in the KNX system (instance mode)

The following sensor types are supported: rotary/slide encoders, presence detectors, brightness sensors and push buttons (switching, dimming, blinds/shutters/awnings/windows, value encoders, scene extension).

Update of existing devices

Have you already purchased a KNX-DALI L1 or L2 ind-gr-bc sec? You can also update this device to the latest version – via the Elsner KNX Service App! The new firmware version 2.0.13 works with DCA version 2.0.0.1478 and application version 2.2.

The device must be reprogrammed after the update.
