In many applications, rain is required as a switching signal. The new Rainswitch 1000 R GI rain sensor provides a simple and versatile solution for this purpose. The sensor reliably detects precipitation and reports the status via a potential-free contact.
Integration is straightforward via a digital input, while the connected system handles further processing. This allows the rain sensor to be flexibly integrated into a wide range of applications – from smart home solutions and roof window controls to PLC or smoke and heat exhaust systems, as well as an addition to KNX projects.
