KNX pyranometer for photovoltaic systems – more control, more yield

In the planning and installation of photovoltaic systems, an accurate yield forecast and performance monitoring are crucial. Deviations between actual global irradiance and predicted performance often lead to losses in efficiency.

A KNX pyranometer such as the KNX PY accurately measures the actual global irradiance and transmits the values directly to the KNX control system. This allows yield fluctuations to be detected immediately and automatically compensated for – for maximum efficiency and optimal performance monitoring in real time.
