We support projects and initiatives on a regional and international level through donations and sponsoring. We put a special focus on local projects, association work and the promotion of infrastructure. We only support projects that are in line with the strategy and philosophy of Elsner Elektronik.
With our activities, we get involved where our employees live and work. The projects support selected local cultural, sports and church institutions and take into account the needs of the people in the region. In this way, we also strengthen the attractiveness of our location - for our employees and their families as well as for the general public.
Thus we support the sports club SF Gechingen and its youth work. The Sportfreunde Gechingen offer a wide range of different sports and allow children and adults from the region a meaningful leisure activity. In addition to the care and promotion of sport on a broad basis, the focus of the association is also on the promotion of sociability and communication. This also enables social encounters and increases the recreational value of the participants.
Also supported is the Gechingen riding and driving club, whose riding facility is located just outside Gechingen in the middle of the beautiful Schlehengäus and Heckengäus. The aim of the association is to offer a harmonious cooperation of all riders, horses and their relatives. Adults, adolescents and children can have riding lessons with their own horse or school horse. By the integration of the members with the care of the animals, as well as the stables and riding plants the children learn to take over responsibility early.
The association ObenAuf is committed to the musical education of young people in the Northern Black Forest region. The ideas for projects come from local people, associations, kindergartens, schools or other groups and committed people. They can then apply to the association for financial support for their project.
The Music association Gechingen e.V., whose youth work is supported by Elsner Elektronik, is also dedicated to music. The vision: to get to know brass music in the course of time, to present it and to cultivate it. The training of young people, the preparation and organization of concerts and other events, as well as a pronounced club life, play an important role.
Elsner Elektronik supports the work of the children's homes Nethanja Narsapur of the Christian Mission India e.V. Their main concern is to help the poorest of the poor. The work is based on a simple concept: local employees are on site in India, while in Germany the work is done on a voluntary basis.
By participating in the project "Knowledge Creates Future", Elsner Elektronik gives the children of the children's homes in India a chance for the future through training in technology and IT. In addition to excellent training quality, early contact with German and Indian IT companies and universities is also made possible.
Plan International Germany is a non-profit children's charity active in 52 developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. By improving local living conditions, children and young people are given the opportunity to develop freely and develop healthily. Elsner Elektronik supports Plan's work by sponsoring children, thus helping to ensure that the children are better looked after and protected and have the opportunity to go to school. In addition, individual priority projects are supported. The employees of Elsner Elektronik are involved in the selection of the supported projects so that they can play an active role in shaping the social commitment.
With regular donations, Elsner Elektronik supports Herzenssache e.V., the children's aid campaign of SWR, SR and Sparda-Bank. Herzenssache e.V. looks after children and young people in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Protect, support and make strong, this is how the association defines its mission. A matter of the heart helps where it burns. With the goal that children and young people who live in the southwest of Germany have in the long term equal chances.
